Group instruction is an ideal way to try out an instrument, learn the rudiments and enhance skills. In small classes, with plenty of individual attention, students become familiar with the instrument and begin playing simple pieces as preparation for private instruction; Adults, as well as children enjoy studying with friends and can benefit from each other’s progress. We encourage young children (5 or younger) to take MBAA’s KoKa Babies Muzik ® program.
Organized courses of instruction leading from very beginning study to advanced performance levels. Students learn theory, techniques and performance skills and are expected to participate in periodic recitals. All music students (group and private) are required to have an appropriate instrument for regular practice; instruments may be rented.
