Since 1982, MBAA & the FireHouse has been a center for joy, growth, satisfaction, pride and much creativity.
As important, we've helped a lot of folks feel good about themselves and others, helping folks of all
backgrounds come together to discover, share and refine their talents and skills in the arts. We are the only
organization of our kind in the tri-state Greater Memphis region and we fill a void in the cultural life of this
region. So, we take our responsibilities, seriously. Without the commitment and support of the community,
however, we would not have been here for almost thirty years. To continue and expand the work we do,

Join the Memphis Black Arts Alliance! Fees and ticket prices cover only a portion of the costs of MBAA's firstrate
programming. Your support does the rest: As an Annual Member/Donor of the MBAA, you will enjoy
benefits all year long. Convenient & secure on-line payments can be made through Network for Good's
Donate Now Program.
You can also support the MBAA with a Planned Gift, including bequests, gifts of stock, real estate, life
insurance, and more. The Activities of MBAA and the FireHouse Community Arts Center would not be possible
without our Volunteers! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including mailings, special
events, education programs, office support and more.

Corporate Partners & Sponsorship Opportunities
Memphis’ vitality as a progressive metropolis depends on maintaining a vibrant, diverse artistic and cultural environment in which to live and do business. The Alliance provides an unrivaled context for putting your corporation in the public eye, while the timeliness of specific programs can ideally suit a variety of your marketing objectives. A package of benefits is available that includes sponsor visibility, hospitality opportunities, and benefits to sponsor employees. Sponsors can partner with MBAA in several ways including Production Sponsorship, Arts Access Sponsorship, Event Sponsorship or Marketing Sponsorship. Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,000 to $50,000 and beyond and are customized to meet sponsors’ business goals and interests.
